Be part of a community improvement project to make a real impact right where you live!

Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent are partnering to provide Building on Faith events around the country. These events are designed to make an immediate impact on local housing and community needs. Jefferson City has been chosen as one of 48 locations across the country to participate this September.
We invite your church to participate in Building on Faith to help make our community even more amazing and engage your church members in an incredible volunteer experience!

Safe, decent, affordable housing is what Habitat for Humanity is known for throughout the world. After 27 years here in Jefferson City, we have built or renovated over 109 homes. But sadly affordable housing has still been difficult to find in our town. Then on May 22, 2019, a tornado raged through our town and made the problem even worse.

From the moments after the tornado, a new story began: Our Road to Recovery. River City Habitat has been at the forefront of the issue, working with our community to figure out ways to rebuild and recover.
